Getting help shouldn’t be complicated, and with Ojai Recovery, it’s not.

Admission Process at Ojai Recovery

Our admissions process is simple, respectful, and confidential. Whether you’re reaching out for yourself or someone else, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Most calls take about fifteen minutes. You’ll speak with an admissions coordinator, not a call centre, someone who can answer clinical questions, check your benefits, and tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

We admit adults to medically supervised detox and residential treatment at our campus in Oak View. Availability depends on current census and the outcome of your clinical screening; we’ll confirm both on the call rather than leave you guessing.

What to Expect When You Call

You won’t be asked to explain yourself or justify why you’re calling. The point of this conversation is to work out what you need and whether we can provide it.

Listen first

We want to understand what’s happening and what kind of support you’re looking for.

Ask a few basic questions

These help us learn about substance use history, mental health needs, and current situation.

Discuss your options

We’ll explain what we offer, what your next steps would be, and how we can help right now.

Check your benefits

We'll contact your insurer and come back with an estimate of your coverage and likely out-of-pocket costs. Your insurer makes the final determination, so we'll flag anything that looks uncertain.

Plan your admission

If we're a fit clinically and there's a bed available, we'll coordinate pre-screening, intake timing, and what to bring. If we're not the right level of care, we'll tell you and point you toward something that is.
